IN LOVING MEMORY & CELEBRATION OF

A Rambling Rose Remembered

~~ A gathering for Hiram ~~

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Hiram Robles Rosas, on September 10th, 2026, at the age of 80. Hiram came into this world sharing a unique birthday with his Mother Ramona Robles Rosas, on January 9, 1946, ironically, he was called home hours before her passing day of 9/11. Hiram was proud child of La Perla Puerto Rico to Americo Rosas and Ramona Robles Rosas. Knowing my father through his FDNY career, it is bittersweet  to pass on the eve of 9/11 to share that honor with his NYFD Firefighter brothers. Hiram was a devoted father, grandfather, naturalist, hunter, motorcyclist, carpenter and overall supportive friend whose humor and personality touched everyone who knew him.

My father always said he was born in the wrong century because he was a Mountain man at heart. His greatest peace was his time hunting and being in nature or being free on his motorcycle riding. As a member of the first class of Outward bounds, Hiram lived and loved nature.  My father’s greatest pride was shown in his act of service and valor to our country as a Jump Master in the 101st Airborne division during Vietnam. To us all it was his supporting nature, his humor and love of life and laughter that will never be forgotten by those who remain behind. Hiram truly was a unique soul that made an impact to those he knew and loved.

Hiram is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many loved ones and friends who will carry his memory and many stories forward with love and gratitude.

Hiram will be celebrated this Saturday 9/26/2026 at the First United Methodist Church of Miami with a memorial to celebrate his robust life. A traditional remembrance ceremony will be followed by a gathering of celebration to share stories and memories connected to such a unique soul.

Peter Pan, in every tear we shed, there lies a memory of laughter and love you gave us. Dad, you can now join those who came before you because you have done your duty.

Till we meet again.
